Candid chat with Karan Wahi as he talks about his web project, Bar Code that streams on Hungama Play.

Handsome hunk Karan Wahi, known for his exceptional acting talent in TV shows like Remix and Dill Mill Gayye, feels glad to be a part of the digital show Bar Code on Hungama Play.

“I am very excited for Bar Code. After two years, it is finally getting released; so I am very happy. Bar Code Season 1, which consists of 10 episodes, is a great show. I am not telling because I am part of it, but I genuinely believe it is a well-made show,” says the actor.

Talking about his character in the series, he adds, “I am playing the character of Vicky Arora, who is a night club owner. Vicky is a normal guy, who has an amalgamation of all emotions. But he is very impulsive. He has a girlfriend and he is a very committed person. The show is about rivalry. It would be good fun when audience will see these two best friends’ rivalry which will keep them hooked.”

When asked what made him choose this web series, he avers, “I believe when you work on TV, you are offered certain types of roles because on TV, most of the leads are good boys. Even if you want to do a different character, you don’t get such offers. You don’t get grey shade and negative role. As the web space is new, I can try on this platform. Vicky is not negative but is an impulsive guy. You will love to hate me or you will hate that you loved me so much after you watch the series.”

On an ending note, he shares, “Audience should watch Bar Code because it is a great show and has great content. I also feel it is one of my finest works. I believe whatever work I have done so far, I have enjoyed the most being part of this one. I have watched all the episodes of the series and it has definitely hooked me; so it will get the audience glued to it.”

Good luck!
