Neetha Shetty seems to be on a roll!!

She’s been on her toes, jumping from one set to another, working on one challenge after the other…

We saw her recently in &TV’s Meri Hanikarak Biwi as the desperate girl who lost her husband. And then came the huge success of ALTBalaji’s Gandii Baat wherein we saw her in a very different bold avatar. Now, she is seen in &TV’s mythological, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, in a dignity-personified role.

She’s brimming with joy, especially for the huge recognition she has gotten for her role in Gandii Baat.

Says Neetha over the huge success the web-series has gone through, “The feeling is crazy. I am flying high (smiles) with the success of Gandii Baat. This is the biggest achievement of my career, I can say. I have done lots of projects in my career, films and TV shows. This is so unexpected. This series has been made from the heart with so much positivity, with friends working together with so much trust and belief.”

“All started when Sachin (Mohite) convinced me for this character. Being a friend, I always knew that I will be taken care of. His belief and trust got me the courage to do this. I have never done such a thing in my career till now. I have tried my hand at every genre possible, but never such a bold role. Now I am proud of having done Gandii Baat (smiles). The series is reaching heights, and I am happy. It’s the grace of God. We recently had a party and we were all on a high.”

On the reaction coming from her well-wishers and family, she says, “People were quite shocked to see me in this. I know friends asking me how I did this. I will say, it is not about doing it, it is all about the trust I had in the makers. Messages have been pouring on social media, and all has been positive. My friends have given me great response. I have never experienced such a high in my acting career, considering the fact that I have done very good shows in the past.”

Gandii Baat is produced by Jaasvand Entertainments, produced and directed by Sachin Mohite for ALTBalaji.

Wish you all the luck, Neetha!!
