Ankita Mayank Sharma who has done noteworthy roles in TV shows is the next to get into the domain of the web.
She is presently shooting in Kolkata for a short film, produced by Shining Films. The production house which recognizes new talent has already produced four short films.
Titled Saas, the upcoming short film will be a family drama which will dwell on the everyday problems in a household and its consequences. It will also show an emotional connect between the daughter-in-law and mother-in-law. Ankita and noted theatre artist from Kolkata, Nilanjana Rudra will play the lead roles. The short will be directed by Sanjay Bhattacharya.
As per a credible source, “The team is presently shooting for the short film in Kolkata and it will be ready for streaming on the web in January 2018.
When contacted, Ankita confirmed that she is shooting for the short.
As we know, Ankita who has donned strong portrayals in shows Chakravarthin Ashoka Samrat, Devanshi etc will be foraying into the digital arena with this film.
On TV, IndianWikiMedia.com reported yesterday about her being part of Star Bharat’s show to be produced by Ved Raj.
