Indian television has number of singing reality shows that appear on an annual basis, but now AR Rahman, under the aegis of Qyuki Digital, has entered the singing reality space but on YouTube.
India’s first YouTube original ARRived will premiere shortly on AR Rahman’s YouTube channel. This show aims to make its presence felt in the streaming service market, but being on YouTube.
The anthem of the show was premiered recently on YouTube and alongside AR Rahman, it also featured Shah Rukh Khan. The show will be co-judged by AR Rahman, Clinton Cerejo, Shaan and Vidya Vox and it is composed by Clinton Cerejo and is written by Siddhant Kaushal.
Earlier this year, Amazon Prime tried their hand at a musical original The Remix and Zee5 with Lockdown and they even pulled in some big names for the same like Badshah, Raftaar, Kailash Kher among many others.
Surely, the trend is changing as the show is made for the internet audience too.
