Besides these songs, Sara is also inaugurating her own YouTube channel (Sara Khan official), with an eight-episode series called Bitchy Me.
Says Sara, “We all have our hidden private dark side, including me. Here, I will talk about my past controversies, giving my version of things. I am also considering one short film.”
On her singing talent, Sara exclaims, “Many people might think that I sing just to make a SM splash, but that is not the case. I want to follow my passion, and most importantly, my mom likes me to croon.”
Sara would be open to working with bigger OTT platforms (ALTBalaji, Hotstar) for more web series as well.
Sara, who recently did two Pakistani TV shows, is also in talks for a third. “I have also done a Pak TVC. The best part of our neighbor’s content is that it it not only limited in duration, but also has great stories, which we all love.”
On her association with Rashmi Sharma, the actress states, “I have always loved working with Rashmi Sharma who has given me Sasural Simar Ka etc. I was also there for a short time in Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Hence, when ma’am took over Woh Apna Sa and offered me a lead role, how could I say no? The whole old story has changed now.”
“My character Rano gets ditched by her husband who goes on to marry someone else. She is not negative, but the whole story revolves around her,” she avers.
In closing, we ask Sara about her take on love. “It would be wrong to label love just as a romantic equation. It also happens between friends, parents and siblings. Coming to romance, right now I want to focus on work.”
“I don’t regret my earlier relationships, for they all taught me a lot. I realized that the world is full of all kinds of people. Luckily, I come out with my head held high, rather than still getting stuck in the mire.”
All the best for your future endeavours, Sara!!
