Still about section 377 is essentially a story of an urban gay couple that lands up in a village in order to convince one of the partner’s family to accept their relationship. It also has a strong transgender track. This would be the first time a web-series would highlight the struggles faced by the Hijara community in a rural set-up. The never seen before story line and strong writing as well as the realistic portrayal of the LGBTQ characters are already receiving a lot of appreciation. Khanna’s performance has got a thumbs-up at various screenings held and now the show is ready for it’s digital release.
Sharing his experience Khanna says. “ Working on still about section 377 has been a wonderful journey, the struggles to put this together has been immense but we are all very happy with the outcome and I hope everyone watches the show as it’s really important for the youth, it will break a lot of myths and prejudices people have about the LGBTQ and we as a team hope to bring about a revolution”
