Popular actor Gautam Rode is all set to make a comeback on the small screen after a break of two years. The actor will be seen playing character of Veer in chapter 2 of Kaal Bhairav Rahasya and to promote the show, the makers celebrated 29th birthday of the lead protagonist of the show.
“It’s a last birthday celebration as Veer. You have to break through the clutter and each time you have to come up with a new strategy to promote the show. At same time you have to create curiosity among viewers. This was the promotional strategy which was pitched by the channel. I found it very different. The show’s story is directly connected with this theme. Veer, has completed 29 years of his life and he has only one year to solve the mystery that ‘why no male from his family is able to live more than 30 year of their age’,” says Gautam.
Talking about his co-star, he avers, “Aditi Gupta is paired opposite me. She is a good and sensible actress. She is also experienced hence it was great to work with her.”
When we ask why he opted for this show, he shares, “It was the story that attracted me. I have not done any special preparation for the show. I am going with the flow.”
Commenting on his tweet, he adds, “I tweeted on celebrating my last birthday and then started getting messages related to my health. Our intention was to create curiosity but it eventually led to people thinking that something has happened to me. My friends, closed ones and fans thought I had some major health issue hence we had to cut short the promotional strategy and I had to tell people that I am fine.”
