Shiny Doshi talks about her journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi and on her preference for her next!!

Shiny Doshi of Saraswatichandra and Sarojini- Ek Nayi Paheli is quite happy with her short stint in the ongoing Khatron Ke Khiladi (Colors).

Says Shiny, “Agreed I would have wanted to last longer, challenging more of my fears. But to be honest I never thought that I would last even the 4 episodes which I eventually did. I overcame my animal fears when wild dogs were all over me biting me, licking me etc. The stunt under a moving bus trailer was also fun. Last but not the least, the underwater stunt involving removing dead fishes was the toughest, for I am a vegetarian. I wanted to pull out of it, but then decided to try my luck. As it happened I got eliminated, so no regrets.”

Would Shiny now go down the glamour route as her fellow KKKites are doing? “Niaa Sharma is beautiful and gorgeous and I love the way she carries herself. There were other hot and sexy girls like Hina Khan, Shibani Dandekar and Monica Dogra as well. The last two wear hottest bikinis flaunting their bodies. But I don’t want to ape somebody, as my role models are not my TV compatriots.”

Adding on, Shiny states, “I have done bold roles before. My opening scene in Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth where I played a negative character was in a bikini. I also adorned the two piece swim suit in Jamai Raja as well. But we need to keep in mind that we can’t reveal much on TV. I only did the above scenes after talking to the creative who convinced me of the need for the same and promised that it would be shot well.”

Looking ahead, she is also game for a take on web series. “If it has a juicy enough story, I am game to doing web series.” On going bold, she avers, “Good content necessarily does not require shedding of clothes. Also I don’t believe in showing skin to become popular as well; that is not my agenda.”

Nicely said, Shiny!!
