Newbie Palak Jain is thrilled and excited to be debuting on the small screen as Anushka in Sony TV’s upcoming drama Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai.
She says, “I am excited as well as nervous as this is my first show. I was enjoying my modeling phase but wanted to pursue acting, hence I came to Mumbai from Delhi. I gave audition and got rejected too. The only difficulty was that there was no one to guide me. There was no one to tell why I am getting rejected. However, I was patient. I waited for the right moment and now, I am soon going to be on-screen as a lead of a show, so I am very happy.”
Talking about the show and her character, she answers, “When I heard about the character, I imagined myself. It is quite similar to me. Anushka is a simple and emotional girl and in real life I am also the same. Although she is rich, she is down to earth. The show also targets the youth. Now-a-days, people are lost in their life and want to always end everything. Breaking or ending is not the solution. You have to take a backseat and try it until you win over the problem. We are very positive about the show. I know the show will be loved by all as there is a lot of hard work put into it.”
Palak is glad to be working with veteran and talented actors on-screen. “It is always nice to have somebody who is better and experienced than you. I think working with good talent enhances an actor’s performance. They all have been very co-operative with me and supported me a lot.”
On an end note, she adds, “I think the script of the show is the USP. I am blessed to be part of such an amazing show. I am getting an opportunity to learn a lot and experience new things.”
