Prakruti Mishra, who is currently mesmerizing audiences as Bitti on &TV’s new show Bitti Business Wali (Raaksh Paswan), has made a mark in Indian television with her acting talent. She is definitely a competition for all.

In a candid chat with IWMBuzz, she spoke about her struggle, her show Bitti and more…

“I bagged the show Bitti by a normal audition process but I feel blessed to be working for Indian television. After I got this show, it was announced that I will be receiving a National Award, so somewhere I feel it’s a lucky show for me. Even though I have worked for regional shows and movies and got rewarded by it, I always wanted to work on Indian TV. I feel it’s challenging to work for TV and I love adventure in life. I also wanted to reach out to the national audience.  I have been a fan of Indian shows too. My sole reason to come to this industry was Jennifer Winget. She is flawless. I loved her in Beyhadh,” shares the actress.

Prakruti feels that content matters the most, not the numbers. “I believe content and story should be good. If that is loved by fans then there is no barrier. As an actor, it doesn’t matter on which channel it is airing or what numbers it is getting, only the best performance should be the concern. On the concept of the show, I feel financial independence of women is a necessity for empowerment, and not just another option. Women should aspire to become economically strong to sustain their family, society and the country at large.”

Talking about her earlier struggle days, she adds, “I was a child actor. My parents are also part of the industry. I was working as a child actor; I later took a break for studies and again joined the industry. After working for Odia industry, I wanted to do something different. Hence I came to Hindi industry to explore and learn.”

On an ending note, she says, “I want to adapt Bitti’s calm nature. I am a very hyperactive girl in real life.”

Good luck!
