Reyaansh Vir Chdha is a fitness freak to the core, and he speaks about his way of attaining high levels of fitness.

Reyaansh Vir Chdha is a complete fitness freak, and vows that he would have been the same even if he was not an actor!!

Says the talented guy, “I love to keep myself fit. I enjoy trying different forms of fitness, and it challenges me to know how good I am with my strength. Hence keeping fit is not just a routine for me. I feel guilty even if I miss one day of work-out. I usually workout for all the seven days in a week.”

Reyaansh has an interesting take when it comes to maintaining high levels of fitness. “Getting a desired body is not only about working out in the gym. It is more of the struggle in the kitchen. It is 70 percent of food and 30 percent of workout. Hence I have learned to cook for myself. I now understand what is good to eat and what is not. This has happened as I have been researching and studying a lot on fitness and diet. I believe that the biggest struggle is to keep a check on what you eat. In simple words, it is your kitchen which makes your body, and not the gym.”

Talking about his idea of cooking for himself, Reyaansh explains, “I try and cook whatever is easy and fast to cook. I hardly get time to spend in the kitchen. But the point is that I cannot just be on boiled eggs all the time. I marinate chicken, and with the griller, my chicken gets ready in 10 minutes. I also stay with my mom. Hence she takes care of my diet. In the mornings, I usually prefer to have a meal of oats.”

The fit actor feels that one should eat to one’s target. “If you need to lose weight, you need to follow a particular diet and workout pattern. The same applies if you are building muscles, so on and so forth. The basic requirement for a person is to know what his / her target is and accordingly eat and workout.”

About his workout regime, he states, “I try and mix my workout. I love to do yoga too. I don’t indulge in weights all the time. Now that I am playing cricket for BCL, this is yet another kind of exercise. I also enjoy swimming. So I plan it in such a way that my body does not get used to the same kind of workouts.”

It feels like his good old school days are back for Reyaansh. “Being part of BCL (Goa Killers) is a wonderful experience. It reminds me of my school days, when I used to play cricket for the club.”

On the USP of his team, he shares, “All in our team are new players. Most of them are playing for the first time. This brings in different kind of energy level. All are optimistic and do not carry the baggage of the previous seasons. This is a new beginning, a new start for us. I would say, that the USP of our team is the freshness and enthusiasm that we carry.”

Moving forward, Reyaansh will want to play a character that will surprise him as an actor. “I still feel I am new to TV. TV has been changing all the time. By far, I have learnt a lot as an actor. TV has been a great reason behind me becoming a better actor. I want to do different roles. I have a long way to go; the journey as actor has just now started.”

Reyaansh, may you reach heights of success!!
