Zubair and Salman exchanged cold vibes during Saturday interaction episode wherein Salman went on to lambast him for his behavior in the house. As a reaction, he tried to commit suicide. Post his exit from the house, he spoke to IndianWikiMedia and went on to blast the bhai of Bollywood.

“I demand an apology from Salman for he called me a dog, which caused me great mental torture. Hence I ended up taking 25 sleeping pills. It also caused great anguish to my children, who are living with my estranged wife.”

Zubair further added, “Salman picked on me for abusing Arshi Khan; they did not show how she was misbehaving (with sadhavi). You need to show both the cause and effect. We were told by Endemol (maker) to abuse if we wish, for it would be beeped out anyway.”

“Salman also called me Nalla don and ridiculed the area where I stayed. What right has Salman got to preach to others given his own fair share of troubles? (Black buck case and hit & run case),” questioned the man.

He also rejected Salman’s accusation that he played the religion card, “I am a proud Indian Muslim, what is wrong in that?”

Here, he informed that he had not been eliminated but chose to opt out. “I know many people who love me and would have voted to keep me in. But I chose to walk out to protect my self respect. I never claimed to be related to someone. It was the media which broke the news back in 2011 which has cost me a lot. It is not my fault if my wife’s family is related to someone and I have suffered a lot at their hands as well.”

For the uninitiated, Zubair is related to Haseena Parkar, sister of infamous don Dawood Ibrahim.

“I was chosen for my work; I am a Producer (Lakeeer Ke Fakeer) and have worked with both Endemol and Red Chillies in different capacities. I was chosen for my work and not something else. I feel that Salman out of fear from the underworld eliminated me. He has been photographed with certain criminals.”

Zubair is ready to come back to the house if Salman tenders an apology. “If not, I will pursue my legal case. I have full faith in the Indian judicial system.”

Apart from Salman, Zubair is also demanding 50 crores in compensation from Colors. When reminded that if he has indeed quit, will the contract not make him liable to pay compensation, he said, “Well, a contract is only legal if both sides have a copy and I am yet to receive mine.” Zubair went on to allege that Colors changed the name of his wife in the contract out of fear of the mob.

When asked about the possibility of fellow Priyank Sharma, who was thrown out for assault, also making a comeback and he said, “Well Salman told him in front of us on camera that he will talk to the channel on his behalf.”

In closing, Zubair said he is not afraid of backlash, “I know Vivek Oberoi has played the price of earning bhai’s ire, but for me truth is more important. Had I just kept quiet, I would have earned a decent amount of money from Colors as part of two years exclusive contract. Why do you think most contestants only speak out after a while?”

Well, let’s see where this showdown finally leads to…
