Getting an opportunity to explore the different shades of a character is the best thing that can happen to any actor.
Pretty and popular Ashnoor Kaur is elated playing the multi-hued role of Vilasvati in Sony TV’s latest offering Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi (Writer’s Galaxy).
Talking about the same, she tells us, “It is going good and I am enjoying because I am getting to do something different every time. Varied shades in my character attracted me to it. I am playing three shades in the show. Audience has just witnessed one as the show has started, soon they will get to see more shades to the character. Here, I am playing my age.”
When we ask what kept her away from screen for long, she reveals, “I was not away from the screen. I worked in few ad campaigns and also completed a south movie. I was waiting for a right kind of project to be back on Indian television for my audience. I did miss TV and my fans, so decided to get back for them.”
The actor says that her earlier show Shobha Somnath Ki is really close to her heart. “All my shows are really close to my heart but Shobha Somnath Ki is really special. I have learnt a lot from that series as I was just seven years old and I wore heavy costumes. I learnt horse riding, sword fighting. I evolved as an actor during the journey. Apart from it, I really miss the cherishing days spent on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha.”
