Ritu Shivpuri, who is already hogging all the limelight with her gorgeous outfits and killer looks as Indrani in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3, says that she does not regret signing the daily which will soon go off the airwaves
“This show is the best for my TV return, I wouldn’t choose anything over Iss Pyaar Ko 3. It’s been an amazing journey and experience. It has been overwhelming to be part of this daily. My character Indrani is loved by fans instead of it being negative. They call me angel and love my performances.”
Ritu, who made her acting debut opposite Govinda in Bollywood film Aankhen, is best remembered for her popular song O Laal Dupatte Waali.
Talking about her journey in Iss Pyaar Ko 3, she shares, “Tomorrow is our last day of shoot and it has been so dramatic. It is such a pleasure and honour to be working with Gul (Khan) and her team. 4 Lions production is one of the best places I have ever worked in. My entire cast and crew is so wonderful and awesome. It is difficult to say goodbye to the show.”
When ask the reason of the show’s closure, she avers, “One can never tell the reason. It is very difficult to judge and understand what audience will like and not like. People who have watched our show love it. We were number 1 on the digital space viewing also. It is very difficult to know what went wrong for me to comment as an actor because this is my debut show.”
Lastly, she thanks her fans and adds, “I would like to thank all the viewers and people who send me messages on Instagram and Twitter. I am overwhelmed and overjoyed with the love and response. I will be back soon to entertain you in a different avatar. Folks, you have to wait and watch.”
