In conversation with talented Yukti Kapoor

Yukti Kapoor has left us all star-struck by her scintillating performance as Ragini in Agnifera on &TV. Her fans were left in a feeling of awe when they saw her strong and bold performance onscreen. The show has been receiving impressive viewership results since it went on air due to a very rich and unique storyline as well as the actors who play their part brilliantly.

Upon asking her about her experience of playing Ragini, she says, “You can call Ragini a gundi as she is always ready to pull out her gun to threaten someone to follow her orders. But on the other hand she is also very close and protective about her father. It has been the toughest role I have played till now. I literally had to practice the Bihari accent for two months and was also given gun shooting practice by professional shooters.”

She has portrayed Urmilla in Siya Ke Ram, Sudha in Balika Vadhu and Ragini in Agnifera. So which character she can relate to in real life? “Ragini is the role that I am very proud. In real life I too I am fearless and very close to my dad, hence I can relate to the part.”

Yukti is a popular TV actress, but is she open to act in web content as well? “I do follow web content and would love to participate on getting a good opportunity. I follow the shows on ALT Balaji and admire Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Talwar, it would be a pleasure to work on the same platform as well.”

Every pursuing actor has an imaginary role that they want to play in future, we ask her what kind of role would she like to enact,  she says, “I am a huge Kangana Ranaut fan and would like to do all her roles in the future especially her character in Rangoon. It would also be exciting to play a character similar to ‘Geet ’portrayed by Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met.”

We wish her all the best wishes for her future endeavours and may she keep us all entertained by her dazzling performances.
