Star Plus is aiming to paint the skyline of Indian television with some innovative programming.
Tapping the developments, Indianwikimedia, the latest platform for all the fresh updates and developments from the world of TV and digital space, has already reported about acclaimed writer turned producer Zama Habib’s upcoming project for the above channel.
Our sources initially tipped us with the info on Navi Bhangu being signed to play the titular role.
But now, the news coming in is that Navi is out of the show.
As per a reliable source, “Abhishek Singh Pathania, who rose to fame with Star Plus’ Mere Angne Mein, has been chosen as the protagonist.”
Navi was in talks but things did not work out. Initially, Kunal Khosla was supposed to play the male lead. Later, Navi was brought on board but now finally Abhishek has bagged the prized lead character.
As reported in media, the untitled show will be made under the new banner formed by Producer Zama, Qissago Telefilms. Newbie Bhumika Gurung will play the female protagonist.
We buzzed Abhishek for a comment but he did not revert till the time of putting the article to bed. Maker Zama Habib also chose not to comment.
