Actor Ankit Raaj who claimed fame with Qubool Hai initially and went on to portray challenging roles in shows Mastaangi, Iahqbaaaz and Laado – Veerpur Ki Mardaani has bagged his next plum role on TV!!
Ankit has been brought on board Bindu Moving Images show for Sony TV.
As reported earlier by IndianWikiMedia.com, Producer and Writer Dilip Jha is presently working on a unique concept which will have elements of romance and suspense.
The finite series will be shot at real locations in Delhi.
A credible source tells us, “Ankit Raaj is the only actor from Mumbai who has been roped in for the series. He will play a prominent role.”
Ankit Raaj was casted by Creative Director of this show, Uday Berry for Qubool Hai earlier. After giving the actor his first TV break, Uday has roped in Ankit to play a very different and important character in this series. Interestingly, Ankit will be one of the very few TV faces to be seen in this show.
We buzzed Ankit, but did not get to him.
Our efforts to reach out to the channel spokesperson and Producer Dilip Jha were in vain.
Ankit is presently seen playing a baddie in Colors’ Laado – Veerpur Ki Mardaani.
