Ashlesha Sawant will play a task force agent in Star’s next.

Popular actor Ashlesha Sawant seems to be on the lookout for variety when it comes to the roles that she will take up in the near future!!

IndianWikiMedia.com recently reported exclusively about Ashlesha being part of the magnum-opus show of Swastik Productions for Sony TV titled Porus.

Now, we have heard that Ashlesha has apparently got the role of her lifetime with acclaimed Writer and Producer Mahesh Pandey’s upcoming big-budget show on Star Plus, titled Special Task Force.

As reported by media, superstar Iqbal Khan will play the lead in the series which will shed light on cases of crime and national security.

As per sources, “Ashlesha is also part of the show which will deal with special task force agents. Ashlesha will play one of the agents and will have a powerful role to essay.”

When contacted, Ashlesha said, “Yes, I am shooting for the pilot. But there’s nothing to talk about right now. All I can say is that Maheshji has written a beautiful story.”

Talking about playing contrasts, guess Ashlesha has hit the bull’s eye by picking up a warrior’s role in Porus and at the same time, intending to do a special task force agent for her next.

We hear that Mahesh Pandey is presently shooting the pilot for the show!!

Here’s hoping the show makes it to the floors very soon!!
