Talented actor Bhanu Uday, who made heads turn with his performance in Star Bharat’s Saam Daam Dand Bhed (Shakuntalam Telefilms), has apparently decided to move out of the venture.
Yes, news coming to us is that he is not interested in continuing beyond August.
Shares a source, “Bhanu was committed to the show till the month of August. Post that, he will exit it.”
Now, if sources are to be believed, the future of the show remains a question mark with this development. If the TRP increases in the month of July, there might be an accident track introduced to replace Bhanu with another actor. If the TRP doesn’t see any change, the possibility of the show going off air will loom large. However, the final decision depends on the TRP game, with the call being taken in August.
We buzzed Bhanu but he remained unavailable for a comment.
