We have been told that the female lead of the show, Jigyasa Singh (aka Thapki) is on her way out of the project.
Cuts in a source: “Call it ill fate, Jigyasa has been diagnosed with Swine Flu. Her condition has been deteriorating and thus the channel and the makers were left with no option but to replace her overnight.”
With the nugget of info, we reached out to Dheeraj Sarna from SOL who said, “You can go ahead and publish but there is no replacement happening in Thapki.”
Jigyasa remained out of reach till the time of putting the article to bed.
