IndianWikiMedia.com has been up and active from early this morning, to get you the first update on the ‘Strike Scare’ that was scheduled to hit the Indian Television Industry from today morning (16 August).

Here are the first reports:

A source from Film City gave us first hand information, “Situation is good so far. Cops are not allowing the protestors to come inside the Film City and they are kept 250 meters away. A very good arrangement from police.”

Amongst the first show to start shoot without any spot of bother this morning is Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team.

Our source from Film City said, “The whole unit of Yeh Rishta team gathered for shoot this morning. The call time was 7 am and the shoot has started without any problem. In fact, Producer Rajan Shahi has been on set this morning, making sure that all is in place.”

IndianWikiMedia.com has few pictures too from the Yeh Rishta set taken this morning.

We have gathered more information on the shoots that have started in Film City.

Sanjot Kaur’s Chakravyuh, 4 Lions Films’ Ishqbaaaz and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon,  Neela Telefilms’ Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Garima Productions’ Chidiya Ghar, Alchemy Films’ Love Ka Hai Intezar, Panorama Productions’ new show, SOL and Shoonya Square’s Ek Aastha Aisee Bhi, Esselvision’s Vani Rani, 24 Frames’ Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Edit II’s May I Come In Madam and Bhaag Bakul Bhaag have started shoot today.

Various other sets located at Mira Road, Kanjurmarg, Saki Naka have started shoot as per their call time. Various noted production houses likes Sphereorigins, Balaji Telefilms, Rashmi Sharma Productions, Hats Off Productions, Cinevistaas, Qissago Telefilms etc have started shoot for their respective shows today.

Our source from Film City says, “Few other shows have a slightly later shift scheduled today. But there seems to be no problem. As of now, the FWICE strike has had ‘zero’ impact on Film City.”

In addition to this, there are few shows that have already managed a solid bank of episodes and have taken a break only because they have a bank and not because they are supporting the strike. An example we have figured out is Meri Durga.

We called up Producer Rajan Shahi who said, “All is perfectly fine in Film City. We started shoot of Yeh Rishta at 7 am at Film City this morning. The workers and the entire units want to shoot and are with the Producers. Lot of shoots are happening on Film City.”

We at IndianWikiMedia will keep you updated on the latest of news regarding the strike scare…
