Star Plus’ blend of mythology and fiction, Karn Sangini (Shashi Sumeet Productions) has been entertaining audience with its interesting tale and power-packed performances.
The show was to see versatile actor Deepak Chadha essaying the role of Drupad, Draupadi’s father.
However, there has been a recent development. Deepak Chadha has moved out of the project owing to his prior commitment.
Now playing the part of King Drupad will be actor Deepak Jethi who has had a vast career in mythological roles on TV with shows Jai Hanuman, Ramayan, Mahabharat Katha, Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev, Paramavatar Shri Krishna.
We buzzed Deepak Jethi but could not get through to him.
We reached out to Deepak Chadha who said, “Yes, I had date issues as I was previously committed to shooting for the movie Kashi to Kashmir. I am also due to shoot for Dabanng 3. Hence I had to move out of the show.”
We buzzed Producer Sumeet Mittal and channel spokesperson, but did not get revert.
