Neel Motwani chats about his alleged relationship with Waaris co star Farnaz Shetty and more…

Neel Motwani, who is impressing us with his performance in & TV show Waaris,  next would like to give wings to the budding musician in him.

“I can croon and also play the guitar and few other instrument.   Now that  have I started to make my present felt in tellywood  as lead after doing  several character roles (Bade Acche Laggte Hai and Ye Hai Mohabbatein  etc),  I feel now is the time to show the world my musical abilities as well.”

Talking about Waaris he says, “This show has given me a chance to showcase several emotions.  At first my character Raj loved Preet (Farnaz Shetty) but later came under the false impression that she had done away with his brother so started to hate her, but deep down inside he continued to care.  Finally, the truth has dawned on him and he wants to get back and has even apologized for his earlier bad behavior.”

Here Neel admits that it is not easy to maintain the constant high drama, which is a certain drain. “At the end of the day we are artists and that is what we are here to do.  Farnaz and I do readings before getting into action.”

Remind him that the ratings of the show are not great and he fires back, “I don’t believe in ratings. How can a few thousand meters decide the fate of a show in a potential audience of millions?”

He also takes the negative response to the show by some on social media in his stride, “Our core TG is the aunties and uncles of hinterland India who are yet to get online.  This commenting   youth are not really our main stay.”

In closing, he refuses to comment on the dating news involving him and Farnaz, “It is all over Google and I don’t want to say much just that we enjoy each other’s company and really kid around.”

We wish him luck and success.
