&TV’s flagship singing reality show The Voice India – Season 2 has reached its penultimate stage and is just a step away from announcing the one Voice that has stood the test of time and emerged victorious. This weekend will be an unforgettable one as the show reaffirms – Awaaz Se Bada Na Koi. With 8 contestants vying for the glorious title, who will the nation choose this Finale weekend, Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 pm only on & TV.

Not just the Top 8 contestants but the coaches – the effervescent Shaan, winner of The Voice India Season 1, powerhouse songstress Neeti Mohan, winner of The Voice India Kids, uber cool and stylish Benny Dayal and the popular singer-composer Salim Merchant are experiencing jitters awaiting the results.

Apart from the results, the contestants are looking forward to performing in front of the legend herself, the singing sensation – Asha Bhosle, which is like a dream come true for these youngsters! Anushka Sharma who has recently tried rapping for her upcoming movie Phillauri will also be seen gracing the Finale and encouraging the contestants to give their best.

The Top 8 contestants battling this Finale Weekend are:

 Team Neeti ki aan baan and shaan – Niyam Kanungo from Indore and Mohd. Danish from Muzzafarnagar. Both the boys have shown an exceptional growth chart through the weeks and made a place for themselves in the Top 8.

 Team Benny ke tadakte-bhadkte sholey – Rasika Borkar from Akola and Sona Vakil from Mumbai. While Rasika is passionate about music, for Sona, excelling in music is a step towards reliving his father’s glory in the field.

 Team Shaan ke melodious ustaad – Parakhjeet Singh from Punjab, Neha Khankriyal and Farhan Sabir from Delhi. All the three contestants from Shaan’s team are a reflection of his own approach towards music.

 Team Salim ki young champion – Sharayu Date from Pune is a musical wonder. Having started her career in music at a very young age in the Marathi film industry, Sharayu is a young tigress who is raring to go!

Mika Singh will be seen returning to the stage after The Voice India – Season 1 and this time around he will be seen rocking the stage with his energetic performance. He will be joined by Master Saleem who has given a new meaning to sufi singing!
