Talented actress Jhumma Mitra, who is known for her prominent roles in shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Jeannie Aur Juju and Trideviyaan, has bagged a new character for an upcoming project.
The actress will be seen in an episodic of Life OK’s Savdhaan India UP Fights Back (Rowdy Rascal).
The story is about a fragile, scared girl who would take admission in a school which would teach karate and self protection techniques. She will be living in the school hostel where the warden will bully her. Jhumma plays the evil warden named Ratna who will be harassing the students to maintain her power. The story will end with how the students overcome their fear and teach the warden a lesson.
Talking about the experience, Jhumma shared, “The best part was shooting at real locations and in the holy city of Varanasi where my co-actors and I took some time off to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple, known as one of the four dhaams according to Hinduism. We also enjoyed boat ride in the holy Ganga. It was an amazing visit to all the holy ghaats as well.”
