Talented actor Mohit Malhotra who has donned various interesting avatars in his acting career has bagged a meaty role and will be part of the Balaji Telefilms family now!!

Yes, the young lad who rose to fame with Splitsvilla and then went on to be part of shows Sasural Genda Phool, Bade Achhe Laggte Hai, Beintehaa, Jamai Raja and Chupke Chupke will now play the male lead in &TV’s supernatural thriller, Daayan.

As per sources, “The makers were on the hunt to find an apt face to play the male lead. The search has ended with Mohit Malhotra getting on board.”

As we know, Adaa Khan, Anupriya Kapoor will be part of Daayan on &TV.

We buzzed Mohit, but could not get through to him. This will be Mohit’s second outing with &TV, after playing the lead of Chupke Chupke.

We reached out to Producer Ekta Kapoor and the channel spokesperson, but did not get revert till we filed the story.

Are you excited to watch Ekta Kapoor’s Daayan on &TV? Well, the production house is already entertaining viewers with the supernatural shows Qayamat Ki Raat on Star Plus and Naagin on Colors.
