Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gaatha, the next big fiction launch on &TV will happen in mid-October.
The mega-budget fantasy tale produced by Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez’ Peninsula Pictures has already gotten a great ensemble cast on board.
Actors Aham Sharma, Makrand Deshpande, Sooraj Thapar, Romanch Mehta will play crucial characters.
There have been reports in media about elegant actress Chhavi Pandey playing the role of Rani Padmini.
However, we have confirmed news that it is not Chhavi, but Ishita Ganguly who has been roped in to play the part of the female lead.
As per sources, “Chhavi was truly in consideration, but things did not work out. It will be Ishita getting into the character.”
Ishita as we know, is part of the Colors’ show Shrimad Bhagavat produced by Nikhil Dwivedi. We believe she will be part of both the shows and will play prominent roles.
We buzzed Ishita but could not get through to her.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get revert till we filed the story.
