Qubool Hai, one of the most popular shows in Indian television, if sources are to be believed was preping for a second run.
We have been told that Qubool Hai season 2 was being made for Star network, though its first installment beamed on Zee TV.
Says a source: “Maker 4 Lions Films, helmed by Gul Khan, were in talks with Star. There was also buzz of main hero of the show Karan Singh Grover returing to television with the project. However, the show’s rights being with Zee, an objection was raised and Qubool Hai 2 hit a major roadblock.”
IndianWikiMedia, on further probing, learnt that the crew was put in place for things to roll out. Weaving of the plot was in process and casting heads chalked out plans to get on board the right actors to fit the characters.
The same source further adds: “Zee took an objection and it got postponed. Now, it’s been shelved, at least as of now.”
Well, indeed sad news for those who were looking forward to the series.
Strangely, when we got in touch with Gul, the maker, she denied the buzz as utter baseless rumour. These were her words: “It was never in the making in the first place, so how can it be shelved.It’s all baseless and there is no truth to any of it.”
