The adaptation of the Turkish show, Fatmagul is all set for a launch on Star Plus. Produced by 24 Frames, Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?, will occupy one of the prized slots in the Star Plus Dopahar programming line-up from 3 April. With the central role being played by the talented performer Pankhuri Awasthy, expectations are huge for the show considering its sensitive plot.
News coming in now is that versatile actress Shabana Azmi will be seen in a crucial role. Azmi as we know, was last seen in the Zee TV show, Amma.
If sources are to be believed, Azmi will play the role of the psychiatric for Amala. The role actually needs a poised yet powerful performance, and considering the intensity in the role, the makers wanted to rope in the power-packed actor Shabana Azmi. It will be a strong cameo role, is what we hear.
