Actor Shweta Gautam who locked horns with Simar as her ‘samdhan’ in Sasural Simar Ka will soon be seen in a new avatar in Colors’ upcoming show, Bepannaah.
Bepannaah, which is the new presentation from makers of Beyhadh, Cinevistaas Ltd, will be the next big launch on Colors.
Shweta has been roped in to play the mother of Sehban Azim and mother-in-law of the popular face Jennifer Winget.
As per sources, “Shweta Gautam will play the simple and lovable mother who would admire and love her son very much. The show will dwell into the changing inter-personal relationship between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law (Shweta and Jennifer) as the story moves on. Shweta’s character will kick-start to be a very simple positive mother.”
