Sonal Parihar, who impressed audiences in shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai… Ajab Sa Risk Hai, Adaalat and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, is currently seen in Star Plus’ Meri Durga.
However, we now hear that Sonal has decided to move out of the venture.
Well, before Sonal, Aishwarya Sharma essayed the role of Amrita, sister to Durga. IndianWikiMedia exclusively reported about Sonal being part of the series.
News coming in is that Sonal has already put down her papers and is serving her notice period. Her parallel lead role in the show did not offer her the varied shades to portray. Her last day of shoot is 12 October.
As per sources, “Sonal was not happy with the way her character was shaping up in the show. She was a parallel lead but had nothing major to do in the storyline which forced her to take this extreme step.”
Confirming the news with IndianWikiMedia, she said, “It is really unfortunate to quit a show like this but at the end of the day what matters is the career graph. I am neither convinced nor happy. I have nothing against the production house but little disappointed as taking something is refusing other offers, also I have done a lot of hard work like 24 hours shoot, late nights, had skin rashes and allergies. Still I continued and cooperated. I am happy that I met few really good people and learnt a lot.”
We buzzed Producer Ravindra Gautam for his take but did not get revert.
Sonal is also doing Big Magic’s Rudra Ke Rakshak so she will focus on that show.
