Star Bharat is all set to launch a visual extravaganza in the form of Mayavi Maling (Peninsula Pictures).
Renowned Bollywood art director Rajat Poddar has been roped in as the art director for the upcoming series. He has worked in films like Barfi, Aashiqui 2 and Gunday and he is extremely excited to present the fantasy magical world of Maling in the daily. Rajat has garnered immense appreciation for his work in the entertainment industry and has also won an award for Best Production Design for the film Barfi.
Talking about the same, Rajat shares, “Television is as big as Bollywood now. Even the finest detail of set is taken into consideration. I was really excited when I was briefed about this show. I knew since the start that this will be an extraordinary project. It took me a year to build this entire magical set up of Maling. I had to research a lot about ancient civilization across the world to build the fantasy world to make the viewer believe it is real. The architect of the set is one of its kind and new for television series.”
Mayavi Maling features Neha Solanki, Vaani Sood, and Gracy Goswami, as the three princesses Pranali, Eshwarya and Garima respectively, and actors Harshad Arora and Shakti Anand will be seen essaying pivotal roles.
