Star Plus’ early evening daily Suhani Si Ek Ladki recently achieved a milestone that has made the entire team associated with the show quite proud!! A true example of a show made on the lines of simplicity and realism, Suhani Si Ek Ladki has captured the hearts of audiences with all sincerity in approach. The recent feat of its 1000 episode completion has proved to one and all that a show need not have huge stars and popular faces to shoulder the responsibility. Good story telling and an engrossing and meaningful story line with strong characters will certainly do the talking in the long run!!
Pitted at a new slot in the evening, the show had a mammoth task when it came to survival, but it has gone on to live and excel beyond expectations.
On the occasion of Suhani Si Ek Ladki completing 1000 episodes, Producer Suzana Ghai (Panorama Entertainment) shared her thoughts with a smile written all over her face. “I think the journey of Suhani has been amazing, considering that the show was launched at a slot that had limited viewership. However, it went on to run for 3 years successfully and has now completed 1000 episodes, something not seen at the slot before. I think the show once again proved that content is king and that the audience appreciates special stories with emotions and great characters irrespective of scale and known faces. I think I just went with my conviction and faith in the story and characters, and that is what paid off. We are on Cloud Nine, now that we have celebrated the 1000 episodes, first time for a show in an early prime time!!. I think my team gave it their best and it has paid off.”
Suhani Si Ek Ladki will be bidding adieu on 21 May, but the ending will be on a real high, as the show has already accomplished what it had set foot for.
