Producer Ved Raj who is coming up with his first show as solo Producer under his banner Shoonya Square Productions with Zee TV’s entertainer, Guddan, Tumse Na Ho Paayega is gungo about his upcoming show that will launch on 3 September at the 8 PM slot.
The unique concept of the daughter-in-law in a house finding a suitable mother-in-law for them, is something out of the box. And the best part about the show is that the daughters-in-law actually end up getting a mother-in-law younger to them.
Says Ved Raj, “The concept of the show stems from the fact that people like to listen to the story of an underdog. So here, we have Guddan our lead protagonist who carries the zeal to do things and work hard, but somehow fumbles in her attempts and spoils things for herself. Also there is a tendency in people to underestimate themlseves and this is exactly what the title says – Guddan, Tumse Na ho Paayega. There is a relatability factor in the concept. Also the saas-bahu angle in our story is twisted, and it makes for a curious watch. The bahus bring in a saas who is younger to them. The show is a complete package and will offer wholesome entertainment with huge drama.”
The show will touch upon the thought of ‘opposites’ attracting. While Guddan cannot handle a task without fumbling, the lead guy is a cool guy with lot of perfection in whatever he does. This will make for an interesting love story.
As Writer, Ved Raj has been part of various love story shows as well as the ones with social issues. “I have written equal number of love stories and social and family dramas. I like comedy as well as horror too. I will say that this story is a combination of love story and family drama. Our show caters to viewers of all ages.”
