Actors work day and night only to entertain us and receiving love in return is all they ask for. Little Aakriti Sharma who has now become a household name as Kullfi has one such fan who came all the way from Faridabad to Mumbai just to meet her favourite actor.
This 3 year old fan, Shanaya Arora, posted a video on Twitter singing the title track of the show, ‘Pet Bichara’, when Aakriti noticed it she immediately expressed her wish to meet her. She flew down all the way from Faridabad along with her parents just to surprise her favourite Kullfi and Sikander on the occasion of Father’s Day.
“My daughter Shanaya is a huge fan of Kullfi. Whenever Kullfi sings on screen, she sings along with her. This show has brought me closer to my daughter and I am very grateful to Aakriti and Mohit for this,” said Sachin Arora (Shanaya’s father)
“I was very happy that Shanaya came to meet us. When she surprised us on set, I personally took and showed her around along with her family like her elder sister. We also sang my favourite song Pet Bichara together,” said Aakriti Sharma.
“It’s so nice to know that your work is being recognised and is changing lives. When we saw Shanaya’s video we really wanted to meet her. Little did we know that the team will actually make this possible. I am really grateful to the Arora family who took the time to come down from Faridabad just to meet us and they even chose they perfect day, Father’s Day,” said the excited Mohit Malik.
Aakriti was so excited to see her that she gifted her famous baaja as a gesture of expressing her gratitude.
