The film revolves around Pulkeshi, enacted by Golden Star Ganesh, an eccentric and fun-loving character who has an affliction that makes it impossible for him to cry, and therefore smiles through pain. He meets four different girls through his journey of life, each of whom leave an impact in his life. Sandalwood actress Amulya’s character helped put various things into perspective that worked best for Pulkeshi; and bringing in CK Judge Jaggesh for a special track added to the film’s star attraction. Pulkeshi develops his perspective when he endures the frequent heartbreaks and learns to live, love and laugh in different ways; this forms the crux of the story.

Pulkeshi finding his way through love with four remarkable women, with the stunning cinematography by Kannada Cinematographer Sugnan, the outstanding background score and soundtrack by Composer V Harikrishna, who also crossed a milestone scoring his 100th film, and Yogaraj Bhat and Golden Star Ganesh coming together on screen after a decade, shooting in some of the best locations across Karnataka and Pondicherry makes Mugulu Nage definitely worth the watch.
