Mohit Dagga talks about the roles that attract him.

Actor Mohit Dagga is back to the TV screens after a hiatus of two years with Zee TV’s recently launched show, Aapke Aa Jaane Se (Bodhi Tree).

For Mohit, this is a special show especially because after donning many a ‘desi’ roles, he has been given the onus of carrying a very sophisticated and good-looking character in Gautam.

Says Mohit, “As an actor, I have always wanted to experiment playing different kinds of roles. However, I cannot be doing it alone. The channel and production guys also need to notice the attribute in me to do various roles. Only when our thoughts merge, can I do something unique. I believe that my role in Aapke Aa Jaane Se has made it possible, as for the first time I am playing a rich and classy guy, who would get shades of being a psycho lover. Gautam can do anything and everything to get Vedika (Suhasi Dhami). I have the height and body to play classy roles, and should be given the opportunity.”

“Having said this, I am not guilty about the work I have done so far. All have been powerful and challenging roles, and I loved doing them. This role has a different charm and I am excited about it. I have never been fitness conscious in my life. To tell you more, this role has made me a fitness freak. I have worked hard on my body, look and hair style and the results are to be seen in the series.”

Mohit whose sensitive yet powerful performance in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan is even today remembered, is grateful to Zee TV for giving him another opportunity. “Zee TV is the channel that picked me up when I was nobody with Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj. I request Zee TV to believe in me and give me a big show in the near future.”

Mohit, carry on with the same positivity!!
