Abhishek Nigam to play teenage Krishna in Paramavatar Shri Krishna

&TV is all set to mesmerize the audience with its upcoming magnum opus Paramavatar Shri Krishna. The show which boasts of a stellar star cast will be see child artist Nirnay Samadhiya playing the role of Little Krishna. The makers have now roped in the good looking and talented Abhishek Nigam to play the role of teenage Krishna.

Speaking about the same Abhishek Nigam shares, “Life has come a full circle for me. I used to dress up as Krishna in school and now I will be playing the character on such a big platform. I was extremely excited when I got the call from &TV that I am selected for the role. I had auditioned for the part along with hundred others but I guess it was destiny that I finally bagged the role. I along with my brother Siddharth (Nigam) practice our lines together. Krishna is a very positive character and there are different ways to portray that positivity. Our team hopes to showcase that characteristic in a different light.”

Paramavatar Shri Krishna presents the journey of Krishna from being Gokul’s Nandlal to Lord Shri Krishna. It will showcase his life through various stages and will unfold stories behind the various leelas. 

The show will start beaming from 19 June on &TV from Monday-Friday at 8.30pm.
