Its rightly said that love makes the world go round! We all have special people in our lives whom we shower with love and affection. One such adorable relations is of a brother and sister. We, Indians celebrate this relation every year on ‘Raksha Bandhan’, where a sister ties a rakhi (silk thread) on her brother’s wrist. The brother in turn makes a promise to protect her from all dangers. Recently, India’s biggest singing reality show – Indian Idol played host to the newest brother and sister in tinsel town – Vishal Dadlani & Neha Kakkar!
Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 10 has been winning appreciation from audiences all over. The Top 12 contestants ‘ superlative singing has impressed viewers all over. While shooting for the Raksha Bandhan special episode, Neha returned to her seat with an aarti thali and a rakhi in it. Seeing her coming with a thali Vishal Dadlani willingly raised his hand and in a wonderful gesture requested her to tie a rakhi on his wrist. Neha was overwhelmed and after tying the rakhi, both hugged and shared sweets.
Vishal says, “This was all in the moment and it came from within. She is such a wonderful girl and I have told her that this Bhai is going to be there for her always. But I think Neha does not need a brother to protect her, she can protect me instead.”
Neha Says, “It was extremely sweet of Vishal to step up and a get a rakhi tied from me when our host Maniesh Paul jokingly refused to get a rakhi tied from me. There is a special bond I have with Vishal and now even more so after this!”
