& TV’s show Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, produced by Nivedita Basu has been doing well at the given slot!!
However, an unexpected development gave the makers tension-filled moments when one of the show’s prime actors Rupin Pahwa wanted to move out of the association. The actor played the character of Sahil Mittal and as reported by media, the makers have found the replacement in handsome hunk Rehaan Roy.
Problem started when Rupin wanted to opt out of the show owing to family issues, and he had conveyed this a month back to his Producer. But the situation got messy when a replacement could not be found immediately.
Says Nivedita “I gave Rupin a piece of my mind about TV and daily soaps, but he was very adamant that he had to leave because of a family issue. I wasn’t able to find a replacement for almost 2-3 weeks and the moment I found and the channel approved Rehaan Roy, we worked towards it. So this has been going on for almost a month and now everything is in place and I wish Rupin luck for his future.”
Aah!! As they say, one’s loss is another’s gain…
