Talented actor Uppekha Jain who essayed the role of Monica in Saath Nibhana Saathiya is presently exploring new opportunities in Toronto, Canada!!
Uppekha went to Canada to ring in her brother’s wedding which was a grand gala affair held in September this year..
However, the actress is busy with her new-found commitments there.
Says Uppekha, “While I was here in Canada, I wanted to figure what the industry looks like here. A big Toronto Talent Agency wanted to sign me. I have shot for a Volvo TV commercial and also a Canadian production feature film with an award winning director. I am on the verge of starting another film, which is again a Canadian production with a Mumbai crossover, with another female award winning director. This movie is slated to have an incredible supporting cast from our Hindi film industry.”
Summing up her thoughts on her Canadian expedition, she states, “It is surprisingly going great for me here. But my heart is still in Mumbai. Let’s see what happens in the next few months.”
