The second revamped installation of controversial show Pehredaar Piya Ki, re christened as Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, will beam on Sony TV from 7 November.
For the uninitiated, Pehredaar, the show, became a victim of slacktivism and had to be shut owing to its plot which allegedly glorified child marriage.
The second stint sees Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar continuing to play the lead with Rohit Suchanti joining the main cast.
Talented and good-looking Varun Jain, was also a part of Pehredaar. He, however, suffered from an ailment and after proper care and nursing, is back to entertain audience in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.
He suffered a bout of jaundice and was hospitalized in Punjab. Later he was shifted to home, and took two months to be all hale & hearty.
“I am better now and happy to be back in good health. However, I need to be careful and take care of my diet. I am thankful to the team for giving me the time to recuperate and start shoot. I have my mother with me to help me out with my diet. I should not be eating oily and fatty food for few months. She will take care of my diet,” says Varun to IndianWikiMedia.
Varun started shoot for Rishta Naya from yesterday.
