Popular television actors Hiba Nawab and Shruti Rawat have a new project, a light-hearted family show titled Bhaag Bakool Bhaag which will air soon on COLORS
And, no…the girls are not attempting to woo title character Bakool; instead, they’ve already gotten it, as his wives!
Yes, both Hiba and Shruti will be seen essaying the roles of Bakool’s wives, Tina and Jigna respectively.
Both ladies will be clueless about the ‘other’ woman in their husband’s lives and will shower Bakool with a lot of love, even as he struggles to keep them apart.
Commenting on the show, Hiba Nawab said, “Throughout my career, be it when I was a child actor or now, I have always wanted to try something different. Finally, I am going to get a chance to do that as Tina in Bhaag Bakool Bhaag. I know that the biggest challenge that an actor can face is to make the viewers laugh, and I am all set to take it up head-on. This is my first association with COLORS and I am looking forward to a truly enriching experience. I really hope that my viewers and loved ones enjoy watching me on the show.”
Adding further, actor Shruti Rawat said, “Jigna’s character is drastically different than what I am in real-life, and that makes it extremely challenging. Plus, I need to do this while focusing on my comic timing. The challenge is huge, and I am ready to prove my prowess. Bhaag Bakool Bhaag is going to help me develop further as an actor, and I really hope that the viewers enjoy watching us on-screen!”
