Nityaami Shirke, who made her debut with PM Selfiewallie, will be back on the platform with ALTBalaji’s new web series Medically Yourrs.
The series concentrates on showcasing the struggles of a medical student. The story also depicts the challenges, the pressures of not just performance, but simply surviving and what it takes to be a doctor.
Talking about being back with ALTBalaji, she says, “It is great to be back with ALTBalaji for Medically Yourrs. The role that I played in PM Selfiewallie was totally different from this one. I enjoyed playing both characters. I feel I am lucky to have played two different characters and grateful that Ekta ma’am had faith in me.”
Ask about her character and the challenges, she adds, ” Nibedita is a book worm. She is very focussed in life. She is aware of the fact that she wants to become a successful doctor. She is not fashionable because that is not her priority. I knew the character would be challenging from the beginning but at the same time I wanted to take up this challenge as that is the most exciting thing.”
