Fans of ALTBalaji show, Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat, are in for a treat. For this quirky show about adult romance between aging actor and counselor will soon go into season 3. Lead actor Ram Kapoor, who is currently busy with other projects, confirmed the same, saying, “We start shooting sometime this year. Karrle is really close to my heart as we have the same old team (Sakshi Tanwar and Producer Ekta Kapoor).” This trio had first worked wonders with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which had changed the face of Sony back in 2011, before coming up with Karrle Tu on the web.
“I really adore both these women and love working with them, for we really give great output. There is total trust between us. We always knew Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat will do well, but did not expect so much success. Season 1 was a big hit and the sequel has gone on to scale even greater heights. I am humbled and happy for the same. If your hard work is appreciated, you are motivated even more to return the love and affection of the audiences. I am now looking forward to the next season, hoping that it lays the foundation for many more seasons to come down the road.”
Talking about web, this film and TV actor, who has been around for years, says, “It is the future. In my house, we don’t watch normal TV, but only Netflix, Amazon, and other web entities. It feels great to be a part of early movers in the space, which will soon completely dominatethe entertainment landscape in this country, as it does worldwide. The entire nation is slowly getting on the digital bandwagon.”
Besides web, Ram is also seen in Comedy High School, on Discovery Jeet. Interestingly, some Discovery shows will also stream on Netflix, so if it happens with this show, Ram will also herald the era of much- needed fusion of TV and web.
