Senior actor Anang Desai who has had a vast career in films and TV will be seen on the digital space in a new avatar!!
He will be part of Bengali film maker Arindum Chakraborty’s digital film produced by the banner Biocine Entertainment.
We at IWMBuzz.com have earlier reported about popular actor Sahil Phull and Grand Masti fame actress Kainaat Arora playing leads.
Titled ‘Birthday Gift’ the film will be a mystery drama related around the life of Sahil Phull’s character who plays a National Security Agent.
As per a reliable source, “Anang Desai will play the role of Sahil’s boss at work at the Intelligence Wing. It will be a formidable character.”
We buzzed Anang and he confirmed the news saying, “I enjoyed playing this role. The film has come out nicely.”
We reached out to Arindum who confirmed the news to us.
The series has been shot and is presently in the post-production phase. Talks are presently on with a big OTT platform for its streaming, reports of which we will bring to you once there is clarity.
