Actor Taniya Kalra who was seen in the IDiva and Futterwacken produced web-series Dulha Wanted will now be part of Applause Entertainment’s web-series, Udan Patolas. As we know, the series has been adapted from the Israeli series, Honey Badgers.
The tale of four friends depicting sisterhood is being directed by Shakti Sagar Chopra and and produced by SOL Productions.
The series has Poppy Jabbal, Sukhmani Sadana, Aasttha Ssidana and Apoorva Arora.
Taniya we hear will play a girl working with the four central characters and will have a strong presence in the story line. Her character will be an amalgamation of wittiness and classiness. She will be a pampered yet independent girl.
Taniya was recently part of the play ‘Aadhe Adhure’ which was written by Mohan Rakesh.
We contacted Taniya who confirmed the news but did not want to get into further details.
We buzzed Ashok Cherian, Head of Marketing and Revenue but did not get to hear from him on our query.
