Last week, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and Sharman Joshi had came together to unveil the trailer of the much anticipated movie, ‘Mission Mangal’. Since the time the trailer came out, it has received quite a lot of appreciation from fans on social media. Mission Mangal started trending on social media and soon started the wait for the next big thing about the film, the launch of the song ‘Dil Mein Hai Mars’. And the wait is finally over. The song is out and one must hear it to get a feel about what the movie is all about. The movie is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called ‘Mangalyaan’, carried out by a team of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). With the mission, India became the first Asian nation to reach the Martian orbit and the first nation in the world to do so in its maiden attempt.

The director of the movie had earlier revealed that the song will be primarily something that is like a National Anthem in the movie and the track is often played in bits and pieces throughout the tenure of the movie. Benny Dayal is the voice behind the song and that’s the only good factor about the song. Overall, the song gives out a sense of peppiness but fails to hold the attention and interest factor for too long. However, while one watches the movie and the sense of nationalism is invoked in the person inside the theatre, the feeling might be different. But overall, it isn’t a song you would want to hear often as a mandatory part of your playlist.

Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya and co-producer R Balki worked with Jagan on the lyrics. ‘Mission Mangal’ is all set to ‘launch’ into theatres on 15th August, 2019, which is the Independence Day for India.
