Hanuma Vihari is that one cricketer who became a National hero ever since he played that match-saving knock to help India avoid a defeat against Australia.

And now after his heroics on the cricket field, he is doing his bit to help Covid-19 patients and people who need support. During an exclusive conversation with PTI on the same subject, he was quoted as saying,

“I don’t want to glorify myself. I am doing it with the intention of helping people at the ground level, who actually need every help possible in these difficult times. It is just the start. With the second wave being so strong, getting a bed became a difficulty and that is something that is unthinkable. So, I decided to use my followers as my volunteers and help as many people as I can,” Vihari, who has more than 110,000 followers.”
