Senior actress Farida Dadi who has won hearts for her portrayals in movies and TV shows looks extremely fresh and super-energetic in her new role in Nimki Vidhayak the Star Bharat show produced by Qissago Telefilms.
Farida Dadi plays the role of the modern grand mother of Mintoo Singh (Abhishek Sharma).
The character is of a lady who is very modern in her thought process and approach. She is hi-tech in her attitude as well as in the usage of gadgets.
Says Farida to IWMBuzz.com, “My character in Nimki Vidhayak needs me to put in a lot of energy. It is a great role to be playing at this age. I have never donned such a character in my life.”
“The lady wears nice Gujarati sarees. She can do anything, starting from showing off her dance steps to doing anything on her mobile. She can overpower anyone with the way she speaks. She is highly confident and assertive,” she adds.
Talking about her cute equation with her grandson, the actress states, “Mintoo is too soft and sweet, very unlike the Dadi. He can do anything for her. In fact in the introduction scene, Mintoo was shown ironing his Dadi’s saree (smiles).”
“Also the cute equation between the dadi and grandson is lively to watch. Mintoo loves her a lot and it is nice to be shooting with Abhishek Sharma,” she says.
